What this instrument measures, and how it fits the range.

The MP-V360 combines precise temperature control with a high-definition camera. The screen displays the melting process in real time, allowing the operator to review the melting point and melting range.

Melting point determination is used in chemical and pharmaceutical research and in quality control of crystalline materials, including selected food ingredients, fragrances and dyes.

What does the video camera add?

The 10.1-inch screen shows a live view of the capillary next to the melting curve, so the operator can see what the automatic detection responded to. For polymorphic or sintered samples, that record is often what decides whether a result is accepted or re-run.

How many samples can be run per batch?

Four capillaries, with two samples prepared at the same time. Repeatability is ±0.1 °C with 0.01 °C resolution, over a heating range of 0.1–20 °C/min up to 360 °C.

Can methods and users be kept separate?

Yes — up to 50 user classifications and 100 pre-stored methods, with 400 results and 64 GB of storage on a Linux platform. That structure suits multi-operator laboratories where each analyst works to an approved method.
