Common selection questions

Confirm requirements with our team before the final order.

How does the 2800 differ from the 1800?

The 2800 uses a fully plastic PEEK flow path with a complete flow-path protection system and a suppressor dead volume below 50 µL, against 60 µL on the 1800. Its suppressor current range is also wider, 0–300 mA versus 0–150 mA.

Does it support gradient elution?

Yes. Eluent concentration spans 0.1–100 mM and flow 0.1–5 mL/min, with gradient precision 0.2% and gradient accuracy 0.15% at a maximum pressure of 30 MPa.

Which eluents can be used?

KOH and methanesulfonic acid. The PEEK flow path is the reason to choose this model when running high-pH eluents — no stainless steel is in contact with the eluent, which removes a common source of corrosion and metal contamination.
