Overview

What this instrument measures, and how it fits the range.

GC-7860 is a gas chromatograph with a 4 °C to 450 °C oven, an EPC-controlled gas path and a detection limit of 3×10⁻¹² g/s.

Key points

  • The GC fully absorbs advanced technology from similar foreign products and adopts industry-leading manufacturing technology and processes, ensuring the reliability and trouble-free operation time of the instrument. It can not only maximize normal operation time and reduce maintenance times, but also be more concise and reasonable in structure, with a more macroscopic and atmospheric appearance; Clear keyboard operation and convenient system control software make it easy to learn and operate. The GC system can be loaded with advanced electronic gas path control (EPC) systems, providing industry-leading excellent quality and reliable results for industry users. The GC has unique network remote transmission and control functions, making it a reality for unmanned, decentralized monitoring, and centralized control of the instrument; The data analysis results can be connected to DCS to complete the statistics, analysis, and monitoring of chromatographic component content, thereby improving the automation of the production process.
  • All injection port and detector gas paths can be controlled by an electronic gas circuit (EPC) to provide better retention time and peak area accuracy. The users can set various parameters such as gas flow rate, external events, temperature, and detector through anti control software, and save all parameters of the analysis method. The digital circuit ensures consistent settings between different operators during each operation. Therefore, users can achieve better retention time reproducibility and more consistent and reliable results, achieving twice the result with half the effort.
  • The GC can be equipped with a liquid automatic sampler, which uses reverse control software to control various parameters. This will bring better repeatability and improve work efficiency, while eliminating errors caused by manual sampling.
  • Gas circuit manually and full electronic gas circuit (EPC/EFC) control is optional, networking communication (Ethernet interface IEEE802.3), computer online full control operation.
  • Electronic gas circuit (EPC/EFC) control mode
  • EPC electronic gas circuit control precision is 0.01mL/min or 0.01kPa, which ensures better retention time reproducibility and more consistent and reliable results
  • Supports temperature ramp rates of up to 80 °C/min for rapid analysis.
  • The oven reaches up to 450 °C for the analysis of high-boiling samples.
  • Support double oven and double rear door opening mode

Common selection questions

Confirm requirements with our team before the final order.

Is electronic pressure control standard or optional?

The GC-7860 can be supplied with manual gas control or with full EPC/EFC control; it is a configuration decision at the order stage, not a retrofit. If you need reproducible retention times or method transfer between instruments, specify EPC.

Which detectors can be fitted?

The platform supports FID, ECD with a Ni-63 source, FPD for sulfur and phosphorus, and NPD. The FID path is quoted at ≤3×10⁻¹² g/s with a linear range of 10⁷; the ECD path reaches ≤1×10⁻¹⁴ g/s.

What does networked operation mean here?

An IEEE 802.3 Ethernet interface lets a PC control the instrument online and collect the chromatographic data centrally. That is what makes it practical to supervise several instruments from one workstation instead of walking between them.
