Overview

What this instrument measures, and how it fits the range.

The benchtop configuration uses a 7-inch touchscreen and a built-in thermal printer that prints current and stored readings. The specifications table lists the measurement range and method for each water quality item.

Key points

  • 7-inch touchscreen.
  • The high-precision filter system supports stable measurement performance.
  • No blank calibration, automatic measurement, direct reading of concentration.
  • Includes built-in calibration curves. Users can create additional curves for their measurement requirements.
  • Supports zero-point and up to seven-point calibration. Factory calibration data can be restored.
  • Stores up to 5,000 measurement records.
  • Built-in thermal printer can print current data and stored data.

Common selection questions

Confirm requirements with our team before the final order.

Which parameters does the benchtop instrument cover?

Over forty. They include COD, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, suspended solids, free and total chlorine, chlorine dioxide, turbidity, chroma, nitrite, nitrate, sulfate, phosphate, iron, copper, lead, cyanide, arsenic, zinc, manganese, cadmium, nickel, sulfide, volatile phenol, fluoride and chloride, plus three formaldehyde variants.

Does COD require digestion?

Yes. COD is measured by rapid digestion spectrophotometry, so a digestion block is part of the setup — the YKJ-16A (16-position) and YKJ-24S (24-position) instruments are the matching units. Order them together; the digestion step is not optional and cannot be worked around.

What accuracy should I expect?

Accuracy and repeatability are both specified at ≤5%, with optical stability ≤0.001 A/10 min. That is typical for colorimetric water analysis. For regulatory reporting, carry the digestion and reagent blanks into your uncertainty budget rather than relying on the instrument figure alone.
